Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Development: Design and conduct research programs to evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems, components, and applications, applying expertise in electricity and materials.
- Testing and Validation: Develop testing methodologies to confirm system and component capabilities, ensuring adherence to performance standards.
- Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop mechanical and electromechanical products, aligning with customer requirements and exploring manufacturing and assembly methods.
- Process Enhancement: Improve manufacturing processes by modifying equipment, seeking feedback from operators, and implementing efficient assembly methods.
- Quality Assurance: Design testing methods to assure product quality, conducting tests on finished products, and assessing system capabilities.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive product reports by analyzing and summarizing information and trends, contributing valuable engineering insights.
- Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Provide engineering information, support team efforts, and maintain professional expertise by staying updated with industry trends and technologies.
- Design and Development: Create parts and assemblies for a range of locking devices, demonstrating expertise in mechanical and mechatronics designs with a focus on electromechanical proficiency.
- Partnership and Interface: Engage with domestic and international partners to transition designs into manufacturing, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment.
- Problem Solving and Innovation: Showcase creative problem-solving skills and design prowess, leveraging familiarity with 3D printing operations.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Electronics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in Hardware Engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Solidworks, Autocad, Rhino, etc.) is required.
- Aptitude in mechatronics, electromechanical expertise is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability in creative problem-solving and 3D printing operations is a plus.
