Mechanical Engineer/Designer

A Maple heights company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Designer. The responsibilities are to complete mechanical design of process equipment with 2D/3D CAD Systems (AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Preparation of detailed design drawings including preparation of related bills of material (BOM). Preparation of Equipment Layout drawings for systems/plants. Preparation of P&IDs as required. Works with manufacturing to provide support during fabrication and assembly, engineers, and customer to develop solutions per customers' requirements. Evaluate and review drawings of equipment upon completion of assembly.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE –

Bachelor's degree in engineering or science, with a preference for mechanical engineering

Real world application
Solid works Experience is essential.
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of CAD design experience
Experience designing mechanical equipment.
Working knowledge of Bills of Materials/parts lists
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Working knowledge of gears and motors a plus
