**Job Description**:
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to create new models, mechanisms, and adaptations for our product line. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be pivotal in investigating and implementing design alterations to enhance performance. You will prepare preliminary layout drawings and ensure the correctness of proportions, stress considerations, speeds, weight, and other crucial factors. Your expertise will allow you to modify designs to satisfy manufacturing needs and make on-the-fly alterations during the manufacturing process to ease production.
As a versatile team player, you should be ready to take on additional roles if the need arises and serve as a vital resource to support our company's goal of continuous improvement of our products and services.

**Requirements/Qualifications**:

• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the design of machinery, rotating equipment, or hydraulic systems
• BS degree in Mechanical or Electro-mechanical Engineering
• Demonstrated proficiency in 3D CAD, SolidEdge preferred
• Proven experience with:

1. 1. Bearing selection and application
   2. Stress analysis of machine components
   3. Hydraulic component sizing and selection
   4. Pneumatic component sizing and selection
   5. Conducting heat transfer calculations
