The primary focus of this role will include Mechanical Engineering on state of the art pumps, pipes and compressors. This person will work hand in hand with the manufacturing floor, design engineers and drafters.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Working knowledge of rotating equipment; aerodynamic performance, gas seals, bearings, vibration, rotordynamics, controls, testing, material science, and auxiliary support systems
• Knowledge and interpretation of applicable industry standards (API-617, 614, NEMA, ASME Pressure Vessel Code, AGMA, NACE, etc.)
• Provide input into the design of the compressor/gearbox support systems; P&ID reviews, seal support systems, lubrication systems, noise attenuation, and compressor control
• Detailed engineering of compressor / gearbox support systems
• Seal gas and lube oil system data sheets, system layout drawings, build data sheets, quality/test reports
• Drive engineering excellence and continuous improvement, including the creation of Engineering Standard Work
• Serve as a mentor to newer engineer’s entering the company
Ideal Background
- B.S. Degree in Engineering, MS a plus
- Years of related engineering experience, including manufacturing, EPC’s, and/or oil and gas industry
- The engineer must demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in areas supporting the company objectives and be known as a subject matter expert in his or her areas of expertise
- Structural Design knowledge, FEA e.g. Ansys a plus
