Job Role: Mechanical Engineer (Pressure Vessels Specialist)
Location: Fridley, MN
Salary: $105K (Negotiable) per annum + Benefits
Must have experience:
5 - 15 years of engineering experience in a similar role, with senior or lead engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area with a demonstrated track record of technical problem-solving and quality decision. making.
Flanges, pipe, and Pressure Vessels Specialist
Familiar with design & manufacturing codes & standards: ASME Boiler Pressure Vessels code Section 8, ASME 31.3, ASME 31.12, Canadian Registration system (CRN)
Creo & Windchill advanced expertise (or at least 3D parametric software, Inventor/SolidEdge/SolidWorks)
Ability to read, interpret, and decompose standards into requirements.
Capable of being on the floor and help solve manufacturing/quality/inspection issues) and report them back to engineering teams - Solution-oriented
Able to read and understand P&IDs
Nice to have experience:
Background in oil and gas / Energy / Chemistry with a
Experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Contracting (EPC); preferably in Hydrogen, Oxygen service, Oil & Gas, and Offshore equipment.
Familiarity with the mechanical design of high voltage / high current electrical systems is a bonus.
Experience with the PTC Creo CAD platform is a bonus.
Knowledge of MS Office and CREO tools is preferred.
