Responsibilities:
- Project Management role is in conjunction with lead engineer responsibilities.
- Requires the ability to oversee the HVAC design of projects from concept to completion, including continuous interface with the design team and clients.
- Proven design experience with comfort and HVAC systems and related controls
- Proven design experience with plumbing systems including water, sewer, and gas
- Experience producing engineering and energy studies including comcheck, Title 24
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking ability
- Write responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications for various clients and marketing opportunities
- Ability to work individually or in a multi-discipline team
- Mentor and coordinate the work of designers and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects
- Manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- Five or more years of related experience
- Ideal candidates will have strong project management, written and communication skills, as well as the ability and passion to provide superior client service to a broad range of clients including higher education, industrial, municipalities, aviation, as well as mechanical/electrical contractors
- Ability to work individually or in a multi-discipline team
- Experience mentoring and coordinating the work of EITs, designers and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects
- Able to manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance
- Experience in AutoCAD and Revit is a plus
