Overview:
Our client, a well know engineering firm, is looking to add a Mechanical Engineer Group Manager to their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a dynamic leader of other engineers and designers, meeting with clients to meet their needs and possesses a high level of technical design expertise with Water Source Heat Pump Systems and other traditional HVAC system designs. This is a long-term, direct hire role with our client located in the Boise, ID area.

Responsibilities:
- Lead a talented team of Mechanical Engineers and designers to produce drawings for grocery clients nationwide.
- Frequently meet with clients to assess needs, engineer solutions to problems.
- Direct the work of other engineers, designers, and drafters for completion of design work.
- Demonstrate a high level of expertise in Water Source Heat Pump Systems and other traditional HVAC systems in application and mentorship.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
- Professional Engineer License.
- 10+ years of experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
- ACAD and/or Revit experience a plus.
- Enthusiasm for learning multiple systems, software and processes.
- People management, mentoring, leadership experience and ability.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment to complete projects.
- Interact with all staff and clients with a professional, cooperative and helpful attitude.
- Outstanding organization and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience working with staff on all levels.
- Excels in advanced thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
