Responsibilities
- Work with Application Team to develop reliable conveyor solutions.
- Develop designs using standards and best practice solutions.
- Review and revise designs to best meet customers' needs
- Determine the best components for the desired outcome to meet specifications and customer needs.
- Design with ease of manufacture in mind
- Understand entire scope of project and communicate clearly the requirements both internal of the design as well as communication capacities and restrictions.
- Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure adherence to customer supplied specification as well as internal design standards.
Education and Experience
- 5-10 years' experience mechanical design of conveyors and associated hardware
- Knowledge of raw materials
- 2-year Solidworks/AutoCAD
- Associate degree in mechanical design (or Similar)
- Knowledge of AWS and ANSI standards
- Strong working knowledge of machines and manufacturing processes
