Responsibilities:
- Design industrial equipment using SolidWorks, configuration tools, and design procedures
- Travel to various sites to gather information on existing system conditions and develop a plan to install Intralox technology
- Participate and conduct internal design and risk assessment reviews
- Review and analyze technical specifications and customer supplied drawings
- Prepare detailed drawings of parts and assemblies according to Hydrolox or customer standards
- Create and maintain bill of materials and other technical documentation
- Create, store, and modify CAD data and project information in PDM systems
- Responsible for timelines, accuracy, and quality of design and drafting work
- Conduct complete Factory Acceptance Testing
- Attend installations for continuous improvement
- Support a global engineering team and its customers
- Maintain detailed project documentation and complete project close-out
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical field of study
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with 3D CAD software
- Maintain poise and focus under time constraint pressures, long work hours, and adverse conditions
- Experience in the use of various hand & measuring tools
- Ability to move around facilities and access jobsite equipment locations
- Safely work for extended periods of time, mostly standing, well beyond 8hr workday in non-climate controlled environments
- Work with personnel at all levels of an organization
- Willingness to travel up to 25-35% of the time
- Some work occurs on holidays and weekends when required by specific projects
- Experience with SolidWorks and Visual Basic desired
- Experience in engineering field work desired
