Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking individuals to fabricate and assemble custom production equipment, participate in metal fabrication processes, and use assembly drawings and schematics. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Perform mechanical assembly and fabrication work
- Use saws, bending equipment, hand tools, overhead cranes, and forklifts
- Read and follow mechanical assembly, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings
- Troubleshoot issues, clean work products and areas, and confer with manufacturing personnel regarding technical information
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have 1 to 3 years of previous mechanical assembly experience in an industrial setting; Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs is a plus, but not required
- Must be able to use saws, bending equipment, and hand tools
- Must have the ability to operate an overhead crane and forklift
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings
- Must have strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to correct issues and be safety-conscious
- Must be a team player, have a customer-focused mentality, and must be safety-conscious
- Must have own tools and be able to cross-train as needed
- Must have the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
