- Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures
- Perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical assemblies and sub- assemblies using basic hand and power tools
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation
- Rework/repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
- Perform work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
- Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
- Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe fashion
- High School diploma or GED
- 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Effective communication and ability to work well in a team environment
