General Objective:
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical Forklift equipment, perform repairs and scheduled maintenance work based on customer needs. Dedicated to customer satisfaction, completing work in a timely and professional manner that meets or exceeds the departmental objectives.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act in professional manner and provide a superior level of customer service and satisfaction.
- Expertly analyze and diagnose customer equipment problems and breakdowns.
- Recommend the correct service and repair actions to resolve equipment performance issues.
- Make appropriate equipment repairs or modifications to solve operating and performance concerns.
- Observe all safety procedures, ensure hazardous waste is properly disposed of.
- Provide well-maintained personal tools required to effectively perform duties.
- Perform other department responsibilities as assigned.
Skills Required:
- Effectively communicate with co-workers and management.
- Three years of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic experience preferred. Equivalent college or vocational school education taken into consideration.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- The ability to understand and interpret related service manuals and schematics.
- Keep pace with industry innovations in order to make sound and accurate recommendations.
- Safely operate power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks and overhead cranes.
- The ability to perform strenuous and heavy work, can exert force up to 100 pounds on occasion and frequently handle load to 50 pounds.
- Must have the physical stamina to perform continuously with full body motion for climbing, pushing, lifting, reaching, etc.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a maintenance environment with potential equipment movement hazards as well as exposure to chemicals and solvents that require knowledge of proper safety procedures.
- Work is performed at customer's locations.

Pay: $25.00 - $60.00 per hour
