Description
Marymount School seeks a full-time Math Specialist for our Lower Middle School (Grades 3-5). We seek a flexible, dynamic educator who will work directly with students in the classroom, as well as in curriculum design and teacher support. The ability to differentiate instruction to a range of learners is essential, as is the willingness to collaborate with a team of colleagues. The ideal candidate will be able to:
Design and implement whole class math lessons supporting the Singapore Math: Math in Focus Curriculum
Provide both enrichment and support for various students in whole group, small group, and one-on-one settings
Lead planning with grade level teams
Requirements
- Master's degree in mathematics or in the teaching of mathematics
- Experience teaching Lower Middle School students
- Ability to differentiate and vary instructional methods
- Knowledge of Singapore Math curriculum is preferred
Salary range: $65,000-75,000 annually
