Best Brains is an after school enrichment program. We are looking for part time tutor/teacher to teach English and Math to kids up to 8th grade. There are several positions available throughout the year.

FLEXIBLE HOURS!!!

Timings:

Fremont: Tue: 4:20-7:40pm; Thur: 4:20-7:40pm

Ardenwood (Fremont) - Wed/Thur 4:20-7:40pm

Rate - Based on experience; Highly competitive

About Best Brains

Best Brains is a learning center with over 125 locations around the globe. We offer English, Math, Abacus, and Coding to kids up to middle school. We are aligned with the Common Core Standards and offer a low student to teacher ratio for our classes (max 5:1). We are always on a lookout for new talent to work at our learning center at various locations (Sunnyvale, San Ramon, Ardenwood, and Fremont). Our center hours are after school which makes it very ideal for teachers looking for extra work. Desired Skills

1. Experience in tutoring/ teaching students (curriculum/materials are provided for you)

2. Ability to work during the hours listed (some flexibility and additional hours also available)

3. Good communication skills and ability to speak to parents about students' progress.

4. Ability to teach math through 8th grade is a PLUS, but is not required.

5. Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

1. Arrive to center on time.

2. Teach the required concept to the students and ensure they understood it.

3. Provide feedback to the parents, teachers, and admin regarding student's progress.

4. Successfully pass the training course.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 3 per week
