Sylvan Learning Center, a leader in education and instruction, is seeking a talented Hight School Math and English tutor to join our team. As a Sylvan Math Tutor, you will have the opportunity to work with High School students, helping them build academic confidence, improve their Math and English skills and achieve new levels of success.

Responsibilities :

• Provide small group Math tutoring to High School students.
• Execute Sylvan curriculum.
• Assess students’ progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Engage and motivate students to develop a love for learning.
• Track and communicate students’ progress to Director of Education

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of High School math and English curriculum and concepts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for education and helping students succeed.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
