Materials Grinder/Helper -

As a Grinder/Helper, you are responsible for assisting the Materials department with reducing waste by recycling unused material.

Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Gather unused material to regrind and use
• Operate forklift to move around materials
• Keep record of material, as well as label material accordingly
• Minor troubleshooting and maintenance
• Remove empty boxes and pallets throughout facility
• Weigh boxes of grounded material and place in designated location
• Maintain positive employee relations and adhere to Company policies and safety standards
• Housekeeping; must keep work area clean at all times
Reports to Materials/Compounding Supervisor

Requirements:

• Ability to withstand working in an environment with loud noise throughout entire shift
• Ability to maintain good housekeeping of equipment storage area
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Physical stamina and strength
• Must be flexible; able to work extended hours and weekends when required
• Attendance must be 98% or better
• Must be able to read and write
• High school diploma is preferred but not required

Schedule:

• 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 2:45pm - 11:15pm (May have to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed)

Compensation:

• $9.00/hour + $1 shift differential
