As a Grinder/Helper, you are responsible for assisting the Materials department with reducing waste by recycling unused material.
Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Gather unused material to regrind and use
- Operate forklift to move around materials
- Keep record of material, as well as label material accordingly
- Minor troubleshooting and maintenance
- Remove empty boxes and pallets throughout facility
- Weigh boxes of grounded material and place in designated location
- Maintain positive employee relations and adhere to Company policies and safety standards
- Housekeeping; must keep work area clean at all times Reports to Materials/Compounding Supervisor
Requirements:
- Ability to withstand working in an environment with loud noise throughout entire shift
- Ability to maintain good housekeeping of equipment storage area
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina and strength
- Must be flexible; able to work extended hours and weekends when required
- Attendance must be 98% or better
- Must be able to read and write
- High school diploma is preferred but not required
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 2:45pm - 11:15pm (May have to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed)
Compensation:
- $9.00/hour + $1 shift differential
