Driller Helper

Envirotech Drilling Services is seeking a helper to support the Driller and crew. The helper will assist in mobilization/demobilization of drill rig and support truck, as directed. Will assist the Driller/Operator in daily field/yard operations of Rig. I.e., handling drill pipe, mixing drill mud, removing samples and use of other equipment. We have been in business since 2011 and succeed by taking care of our clients and employees. We are looking for experienced driller helpers; however, are willing to train to help us continue our company growth.

Responsibilities

• Load Trucks and trailers with needed tools and supplies as indicated by the Driller/Operator
• Observe and follow all company safety rules and procedures.
• Support and encourage continuous improvement of the company's processes, including safety program and quality management system.
• Assist in the mobilization of drilling rigs for jobs as directed.
• Load drilling supplies such as augers, pipe, etc.
• Assist the Driller/Operator in the operation of rig by handling drill pipe, mixing drill mud and handling casing and other equipment.
• Drive equipment to and from job location.
• Familiar with and follow DOT.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with company safety rules and procedures.
• Continuous Housekeeping and final cleanup of job site.
• Assist in the cleaning of equipment after each job as directed.
• Clean equipment yard and perform other duties as assigned.
• Work in varying weather conditions.
• Per diem provided for out-of-town work.
• Must have a positive level of professionalism when interacting with clients and team members.

Requirements

• Preferred at least 1 year of Environmental or Geotechnical driller helper experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and a DOT physical.
• A valid Driver’s license is preferred and clean MVR.
• Must be able to pass a drug test, background check and hair follicle test.

Must be willing to travel 50+% of the time Monday – Friday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
