Material Handler/Expeditor

JOB SUMMARY:

The Material handler reports directly to the Director of Stock, Storage & Distribution. Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, inventory adjustment, and delivering a variety of aircraft parts and ground support equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Counts, weighs, or measures incoming and outgoing against its respective packing slip

· Examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify any issues

· Completes shipping documentation for domestic and/or international shipments

· Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or dollies to move, inspect stock or reorganize inventory warehouse

· Performs yearly inventory check

· Participates in routing, counting, and inspecting items while loading and unloading trucks; delivers and returns items

SKILLS:

• 1 year of Forklift experience
• 2 years of Material Handler
• 2 years of Expeditor experience
• Knowledge of operating Microsoft Office
• Knowledgeable of using FedEx, DHL, and UPS
• Able to lift heavy items
• Verbal and written communication

• Knowledge of safety practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
