Shifts:
Day Shift Monday - Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM
-2nd Shift Monday - Thursday4:30PM-3:00AM
Responsibilities:
Develop intimate knowledge of the processes supported
Pick-up and drop-off materials at pre-designated areas at scheduled intervals
Keep the workplace clean and organized to facilitate the efficient flow of materials
Movement of materials to their intended locations
5S activities for all responsible areas (sorting, organizing, cleaning, sweeping)
Facilitate the flow of materials by participating in the production process including assembly, building of components, shipping, and receiving as needed
Transacting material to jobs and non-conformances
Work with purchasing and supply chain in the inventory management process including cycle counting, physical inventory, notification of stock outs
Flexibility to cross-train as necessary
Other duties as requested by management
Skills:
4 years manufacturing or related experience
Have a strong desire to learn and a willingness to follow instructions.
Enjoy working independently and as part of a team.
Pay close attention to detail and are quality-focused.
Qualifications:
Must have at least 6 months of forklift experience
Able to lift 45 lbs.
Able to stand for long periods up to 4 hours at a time
Able to read and write fluent English
