Objective is to transfer material manually by hand, or utilizing a manual pallet jacket or using a lifting device attached to a hoist called out within the standard work.
Role & Responsibility
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device attached to hoist. Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting device by hand as needed. Loads parts manually from racks, tubs, and/or bins in warehouse to trays or racks kit carts. Follows set route through department to load kit carts. Loads and unloads parts manually from paint line. Maintains safety checks on necessary equipment. Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations. Uses electronic scanner to transact material as needed. Team Lead Meet required production schedules while promoting safety, quality, teamwork, lean manufacturing, and sound environmental practices. Ensure consistent application of Standard Work at each workstation through audits and training. Attend daily production, shift, LPMS, Morning Market and other meetings as required. Complete all necessary area communications for subsequent production shifts. Maintain & update cell and team boards. Check part availability and report outages to the appropriate process owner. Coordinate with PCLs to assign workforce according to skill, ability and the format of work area. Identify and resolve area bottlenecks to ensure balanced workload. Communicate & track customer emergencies (Hot Parts). Perform root cause analysis to eliminate safety and quality concerns. Perform daily 5S, quality, Safety and process audits to assure compliance with LPMS guidelines. Communicate Safety Alerts. Serve as a point of contact for area new hires; provide training/assign a work shadow as required for new and current employees. Perform all other duties as assigned

Job Requirement
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- 0>2 years of experience
- The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of high school or equivalent is required.
- Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training.
- General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations or assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations or assignments.
