Material Handler

Global Environmental Products, Inc. a worldwide leading Manufacturer of street cleaning vehicles has an opening for a Material Handler responsible for providing parts to the production line, operating a forklift and moving parts to work stations. This position works closely with the Production Supervisor and Team Leaders to ensure parts needed are available at the production areas as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Will work closely with Production to provide parts to the production line by delivering parts to the designated stations ensuring that the production line has the inventory to keep up with the production schedule.
• Experience in stocking a production line.
• Update materials computer system by transferring inventory from one location to another.
• Overtime required
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Must have previous experience working with a Manufacturing environment.
• Experience in stocking a production line and handling heavy equipment parts.
• Operate material handling equipment; forklifts, cherry pickers and pallet jacks and cranes.
• Must have the ability to recognize parts, learn part numbers and inventory locations.
• Ability to keep up in a fast pace environment.
• Must have forklift certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
