Join our team and make a difference! We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to fill the role of Supply Support Specialist (Material Handler). Working under the encouraging leadership of the Supply Support Manager and Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in assessing, replenishing, and maintaining unit supply rooms every day.
Key Responsibilities: As a Supply Support Specialist, you will embark on a fulfilling journey that includes:
- Conducting daily assessments and replenishment of assigned Nursing Units, ensuring they are well-stocked and ready for seamless operations.
- Daily maintenance of unit supply rooms, ensuring a tidy and organized space for efficient workflow.
- Monitoring expiration dates on various med/surg products to guarantee their usability and taking proactive measures to remove items nearing expiration from inventory.
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies, problems, or questions related to inventory and distribution processes, keeping the Team Lead advised.
- Focusing on delivering outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries related to Supply Support, and encouraging positive relationships with individual unit staff members.
- Collaborating with Nursing Unit staff members on planning, logistics, and maintaining a continuous supply flow.
- Adhering to hospital, TJC, DPS, OSHA, and CMS guidelines and procedures for supply stocking and rotation.
- Playing a crucial role in secure medication storage areas, handling and distributing medications supplied by the BWH materials management department.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and push carts up to 100 lbs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to collaborate optimally with team diverse members.
- Familiarity with hospital, TJC, DPS, OSHA, and CMS guidelines is a plus.
