Design Intern Job Description
Intern will support the Intimates Design Team, focusing on Girls Intimates
Responsibilities
- Assist Designer in printing out prints to check for scale and colorways
- Make color cards using physical standards
- Prepare prints, color palettes, and artworks for pass off to Product Management team
- Organize sample library
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to gain an understanding of the role of Design
- Prepare documents, samples, boards, and/ or swatches for meetings
- Participate in trend research and development for new seasons
- Learn about the day-to-day tasks accomplished by an Assistant Designer such as print development & recoloring, CAD work, and tech pack creation/ updates
- Organize digital files following PPI systems
Requirements
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Fashion Design or related major
- Proficiency in Photoshop & Illustrator
- 2-4 days/ week in office between 8:30am-5pm, M-Th
- Starting now through August 29th, potential to extend after
- Authorization to work in the US
