SalaryPosition Description:
- Pack, seal and affix labels to prepare material for storage within the warehouse.
- Assure that all products packaged by the department are of the highest quality; keeping good material good.
- Be able to identify and properly annotate serial numbers.
- Be able to count high volume of material such as nuts, bolts, washers.
- Properly identify location markers to verify proper location of material.
- Perform routine counts of warehouse locations and properly annotate quantities on count sheets.
- Operate forklift equipment as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.
Position Requirements:
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, while keeping correct data.
- Working knowledge of supply and supply management.
- Ability to learn GDLS processes, products and military technology.
- Ability to learn and operate forklift equipment as needed.
- Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks.
- Ability to effectively communicate (both verbally & written) and interact with internal & external customers clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years related work experience.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Must be able to gain and maintain access to all military installations in which the work is performed.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Passport with potential for travel in support of Company requirements.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a General Dynamics Corporate credit card.
Position Hourly Rate: $25.78 per hour
Position Incentive: Hired applicant may be eligible to receive an annual bonus.
