Position Responsibilities
· Ensures partner facilities Logistical Claims are in alignment with the requirements (Claims Matrix).
· Ensure partner facilities Logistical Claims are thoroughly reviewed for accuracy and appropriately dispositioned.
· Communicate logistical errors to the appropriate Supplier, Material Planner and LQS.
· Ensures and assess the acceptance of supplied parts Logistics Quality to group standards and specifications to the end customer(s) satisfaction and production capability.
· Ensures supplier is capable of meeting production targets and Logistics Quality standards.
· Establishes a documented process flow of problem solving of logistical issues at the supplier level (level 0).
· Collaborates with the Material Control team to establish new supplier escalation process and to ensure process compliance.
· Establishes KPIs to show effectiveness of problem solving.
· Monitors supplier performance through established KPIs and communicates any issues to management.
· Assists with the implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency.
· Provides support and guidance to the Material Control team as needed.
III. Position Competencies:
A) Education: BA/BS degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
B) Experience / Qualification:
4+ years of experience in Material Control, quality, or logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $46.00 per hour
