We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and organized marketing professional with advanced written and verbal communication skills and strong critical thinking expertise to join our Pacific Northwest region (Washington and Oregon) marketing team! As a Marketing Specialist, you will be a valued member of the Marketing Team, working both independently and collaboratively to implement firm-wide marketing initiatives. You will coordinate and develop proposals, produce collateral, and maintain marketing data alongside an incredible team that is eager to grow together. Essential Roles and Responsibilities
Market Research: Identifying, researching, and tracking marketing pursuit opportunities.
Business Development: Help coordinate and attend internal and external events and tradeshows aligned with strategic plan. Track and maintain relevant registrations and memberships.
Proposal Responses: Lead, manage, and develop proposal submissions from commencement to conclusion, including pre-positioning, coordination of scheduling and deliverables, content generation touchpoints, and review periods through to submittal, client presentations, and debrief.
Content Creation: Develop compelling content for marketing materials including RFP/RFQ responses, SOQs, case studies, and social media posts.
Data Management: Maintain, utilize, and champion CRM efforts.
Asset Management: Review and maintain a content library of resumes, project descriptions, standard narratives, and submitted SOQs/proposals on a regular cadence. Coordinate project summary program by providing descriptions, photos and quotes on all assigned projects as they close.

Ability to produce high-quality materials under deadline pressure.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign), Canva, and Microsoft Office.
Exceptional writing skills with demonstrated experience developing engaging external and internal communications.
A self-starter who is comfortable directing a technical team on the delivery of pursuits, promotional material, and business development activities including independent decision making.
Ability to work effectively independently as well as within a team.
Must thrive working in a deadline-driven environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related degree and 2 years of marketing and communications experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, 6 years of related experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign).
Strong time management.
Comprehensive understanding of A/E/C industry.
Attention to detail and provide quality work.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Understand basic marketing principles.
Understand project lifecycle.
Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
Work performed in office at our Lynnwood location.
