ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Design
- Contributes to university marketing campaigns, including ad development, content creation, partnerships, and more.
- Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
- Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
- Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns
- Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
- Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV etc.)
- Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
- Coordinates the tracking of all current marketing projects. Completes the necessary project tracking forms and maintains a complete and accurate list of current projects in the department's project tracking system.
Client management
- Conducts intake sessions with potential clients. Completes the necessary project intake forms/creative briefs and follows up with clients regarding the job specifics and production timeline.
- Assists team members by mentoring them on marketing principles. Ensures that all skills are kept current through on-the-job training, review of professional publications and training.
Bachelor's degree and three years of experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience. (Note: or a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to seven years.)
Preferred Qualifications- Possess at least 1 year of professional marketing expertise and a four-year degree. Demonstrate proficiency in marketing campaign development.
- Exhibit strong attention to deadlines and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Showcase a track record of success in collaborating with all levels of management.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Display strong presentation skills.
