Marketing Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to create, send manage our weekly newsletter, proof all customer facing information and perform essential customer service duties.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, and digital advertising

- Create compelling content for marketing materials, using website copy, blog posts, and social media updates

- Create and proof seed packet information

-Add and edit products in Woo Com. store front

- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth

- Analyze campaign performance data and provide insights to optimize future campaigns

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels

- Manage marketing automation tools and platforms to streamline processes

- Implement customer segmentation strategies to target specific audiences

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital marketing

- Help with the creation of content for our annual calendar

-Help, when needed with special projects

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field

- Proven experience in digital marketing, including email marketing, social media advertising, and content creation

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

- Experience with email marketing automation tools such as Mail Chimp

- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to proof engaging content

- Familiarity with testing methodologies to optimize campaign performance

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

- must be a gardener, farmer or plant enthusiast

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
