Job Description:
The Marketing Specialist role will work closely with each member of the Marketing team. The role will work autonomously to create and disseminate photographs, social posts, emails and other branded messages on behalf of APG’s family of brands that supports the company’s overall brand and tone. Knowledge of Social Media, Email marketing and Loyalty Programs is key to the success of this role. Creativity, attention to detail and ability to self-prioritize and work within outlined time restraints are a must. This position reports to the Marketing Director.
Job Summary:
- Generate and curate Social Media posts for multiple APG brands across social media platforms ensuring that all content is aligned with appropriate marketing voice
- Interact daily with our customers on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other social platforms answering comments and inquiries
- Identify trends, relevant news, and other opportunities in the social media space, helping to increase brand voice and sustain brand affinity and loyalty
- Execute broadcast marketing emails while reporting on KPIs
- Maintain and coordinate Loyalty program efforts across multiple APG brands with support from Marketing Team
- Assist with promotional coordination across APG brands
- Other duties and responsibilities as needed
Education & Experience Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing or related field and/or 2-5+ years of experience developing and executing social media marketing, email marketing and work within a loyalty program
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and other emerging social media platforms
- Email marketing knowledge with experience within a major ESP
- Strong understanding of Marketing KPIs
- Creative Design skills a plus (Canva, Photoshop, etc)
- Ability to balance your creativity while being goal and metrics driven
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Passionate & knowledgeable about the automotive industry; Subaru knowledge is a big plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time with unmatched time management skills
- Demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking
- Must be able to work autonomously while making critical decisions to support RallySport Direct’s brand voice
