What is the Marketing Program Manager responsible for?
The Marketing Program Manager, Digital Strategy and Wealth Management will support key initiatives that promote Franklin Templeton’s digital products and services across B2B, B2B2C and Direct to Consumer Audiences. Working cross-functionally with global product, sales, finance, and business teams in a lean, start up-like environment, the incumbent will have exposure to a variety of operational and strategic marketing tasks within the Digital Strategy and Wealth Management (DSWM) department, including:
Marketing technology (CMS, CRM, automation tools…etc.)
Performance metrics and analytics
Marketing project planning and timelines
Audience communication strategies
Creative content, storytelling and campaign development
Marketing/media agency and other vendor relations
Owned channel management, including web/micro sites, social media, app store…etc.
This is a hands-on role that will drive business outcomes through innovative CRM campaigns, website/editorial content and a fresh approach to sales enablement marketing. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial marketer that seeks room to grow in their career, and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to tackle a wide variety of functions for the global DSWM businesses.
Responsibilities
Learn, master and manage a wide variety of marketing technologies (CRM, marketing automation, analytics tools, web publishing CMS, MMP, App Store…etc.) to enable a growing global function within Franklin Templeton
Support the deployment and delivery of various cross-channel marketing, communications, content and advertising campaigns across DSWM audiences, globally
Partner with various internal shared services teams and external vendors to develop and deliver innovative marketing materials, including end-investor content
Help to lead the DSWM B2B and D2C e-mail Marketing Programs, including journey programming, publishing, creative, and list management
Support all aspects of DSWM website publishing, managing the day-to-day changes and updates through CMS or via technology partners and vendors
Manage compliance submissions and global approvals tracking to ensure all marketing materials are in line with relevant regulations
Oversee briefing, tagging and reporting process for all DSWM marketing analytics across traditional and digital channels
Utilize a wide range of data from our technology stack and partner with our business intelligence team to dig into the numbers to find out what’s working, what’s not, and determine how to optimize our resources
Track marketing budgets, financial reporting and manage vendor invoices
What qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in communications, liberal arts, or marketing
3-5 years of relevant work experience in brand-side marketing or with an advertising/media agency
Highly organized taskmaster with a strong attention to detail. Self-organized and self-responsible while having an entrepreneurial approach
Innovative, creative, and strategic thinker - but willing to roll up your sleeves to execute in a lean and agile start-up environment
Exposure to marketing projects and task management experience across a broad range of marketing activities (brand, content, PR, paid advertising, budgeting, analytics, etc.)
Experience deploying cross-channel Marketing Programs – with specific emphasis on digital, mobile, social, and emerging channels
Working knowledge of digital advertising, marketing tracking/reporting, and hands-on experience with marketing technologies required (such as Hubspot, Marketo, WordPress, Bloomreach, Kochava, Google Analytics…etc.)
Past experience and/or exposure to financial services or other highly regulated industries is preferred
Adaptable, with the ability to transition to/from different initiatives and projects as opportunities and risks emerge, organizing work and due dates to structure time most effectively
Excellent communicator and natural collaborator with the ability to build relationships across all levels. Comfortable being challenged and seeking challenge from colleagues and stakeholders
Goal-orientated and results driven with the ability to see the bigger picture
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and other workplace productivity tools
Compensation Range: Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to range between $90,000 – $120,000.
