Job description

Plymouth Rock is seeking an analytically minded Marketing Technology Specialist with strong project management skills and attention to detail to support our rapidly growing Direct Response Auto Insurance business. The Marketing Technology Strategist will work cross functionally with media, analytics, and IT teams as a central connection point to ensure campaigns are being tracked, measured and optimized efficiently. They should have a strong understanding of marketing tagging and tracking infrastructure and have experience with implementing solutions that ensure leads are properly tracked throughout the customer’s journey. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Own the Direct Response Auto tag management infrastructure; including tagging strategy and implementation, ongoing monitoring and QA, as well as best practice implementation
  • Act as a technical liaison between the business and developers to translate business goals/priorities to technical requirements; including but not limited to initiatives geared at improving customer quality and retention
  • Own day to day AdOps, to support digital media and marketing campaigns, including ad trafficking for email, paid digital advertising and call tracking
  • Maintain existing marketing technology and tracking infrastructure while supporting integration of new tools and processes to increase efficiency between Marketing Tech and other departments
  • Support relationships with external MarTech partners to ensure optimal implementation of tools and continuous improvement
  • Document, analyze and improve acquisition and retention processes across all marketing and sales channels with a focus on process automation
  • Demonstrate diligence and attention to detail, and adherence to best practices as it relates to the campaign life-cycle.

 

Qualifications and Education

  • 3 years of relevant work experience in a digital operations or marketing analytics position with technical requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in business, marketing or a quantitative major
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript and html
  • Strong technical and quantitative skills with the ability to boil down complex scenarios, draw conclusions and form recommendations from data analyses
  • Proven track record of working cross functionally to problem solve, preferably with developers and business groups, exhibiting strong communication skills
  • Prior experience setting up digital campaign tracking, Ad Serving and Tagging required; preferably with Google Campaign Manager 360, Tealium iQ, GTM and Google Analytics specifically
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize new digital marketing platforms and internal dashboards
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and working on multiple projects in a team setting
