Marketing Manager (US - Contract)

$70.00 - $73.00 per hour

This is a remote position - preference for candidates located in Seattle, WA; Los Angeles, CA; or Austin, TX
Position Overview:

The role will work with teams across the organization, bringing together teams from across Expedia Group from strategists, creatives, producers, communications planning, brand leads, media, international, product and partners. A high degree of partnership across organizations is needed, and the candidate will excel at relationship building.
Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:
- Manage end-to-end development, execution, and delivery of integrated brand campaigns actioned against our annual marketing and communication plans
- Act as the key point of contact for all cross functional teams and stakeholders including Business Marketing, Brand Planning, Comms Planning, PR, Social, CRM, Creative, Project Management, Production, Media, Measurement, etc. to develop and deliver comprehensive integrated campaigns
- Manage creative development with both internal creative teams and agency partners
- Drive communications for ensuring creative objectives are well defined and appropriately carried out
- Lead all project meetings and communication, setting the agenda, identifying and tracking all workstreams, mitigating risk, troubleshooting challenges, and surfacing tradeoffs and opportunities
- Provide brand marketing leadership to team of CD’s, producers, and strategists to plan, lead and implement marketing communications efforts
- Partner with International teams on campaign execution
- Partner with Creative and Project Management on creative review process
- Present and defend work with executive leadership
- Support budget management at an annual and quarterly basis in partnership with Production
Qualifications of the Marketing Manager:
- Minimum 6+ years of relevant integrated marketing experience
- Experience with advertising and/or brand marketing is preferred
- An integrator, someone who can lead and motivate teams around a key idea
- You have strategic and critical thinking skills; ability to see the “big picture” while also connected to all the details
- You are extremely organized with strong operational and project management skills in order to efficiently drive projects to completion on time and on budget
- Someone with excellent visual storytelling and speaking skills who can communicate effectively, concisely, and tailor a message appropriately.
- Adept at using data to make appropriate decisions on trade-offs and prioritization
- Resilient and constructive when faced with change, able to shift approaches when needed in response to unexpected events and circumstances
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Ambitious personality who is open to helping with any task
- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines

The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
