TITLE: Marketing Manager – Performance (SEO/SEM/Affiliate)

REPORTING TO: VP, Marketing

PREFERRED LOCATION: UNITED STATES, EXCEPT HAWAII AND ALASKA

Role Overview:

We're looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Growth Marketing team. This role will be reporting to our VP of Marketing, helping us scale performance marketing initiatives across all brands. This individual will work across paid media channels, primarily SEM, SEO, social media buying, Display Ads, Affiliate Marketing, Retargeting, Programmatic advertising, and Native Advertising. Partnering with our Site Optimization and CRM teams, to improve conversion and retention rates.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Growth and Brand teams to drive and own customer acquisition across all marketing channels with a special focus on SEM, SEO, Retargeting, Programmatic, and Native advertising.
  • Manage end-to-end funnels, including integrating new traffic sources, managing campaigns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Creative, Marketing, and Brand) to produce top-class advertising.
  • Establish channel forecasts and budget recommendations, with the speed and ownership to adjust tactics and strategies quickly based on learnings and opportunities.
  • Utilize historical data, industry trends/benchmarks, plus your experience to develop models and provide performance projections.
  • Manage and optimize Google Analytics/Google 360 dashboards.
  • Present reports on consistent cadence, turning performance marketing data into meaningful insights that are actionable for you and the wider team.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies to maximize full-funnel performance through creative/copy testing, audience segmentation, ad placements, landing page optimizations, and retargeting strategy.
  • Provide recommendations and assist with new strategies for keyword opportunities.
  • Drive continuous, programmatic improvement by monitoring budget pacing and key metrics including MER, New Customers, CAC, Activation Rate, etc. across all performance marketing channels.
  • Oversee marketing contractors to ensure successful deliverables, when applicable.
  • Follow industry trends and drive innovation.
  • Contribute to projects, process changes, and rollouts.
  • Travel Requirement: Up to 25%

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of performance marketing experience for an e-commerce brand. Preferably within the home and/or personal care space.
  • 2+ years working across multiple DTC brands.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field preferred
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing KPIs and analytical platforms.
  • Experienced in driving trials, a/b tests, engagement, and conversion through targeting, creative/copy testing, and audience segmentation for marketing campaigns at scale.
  • Experienced in running campaigns across channels such as social, search, mobile, display, etc. by optimizing budgets for efficient spending, tweaking strategies based on performance to maximize ROI, and identifying pain points to creatively improve non-performing channels.
  • Proficient across online advertising platforms such as Google Adwords, Facebook Ad Manager, Google Analytics, and internal performance dashboards.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills
  • Travel Requirement: Up to 25%
