Friends of Indus Hospital, FOIH is a not for profit organizis seeking a dynamic Resource Development Manager to support in developing and executing fund raising strategies to raise awareness and raise funds for the cause of FOIH. The ideal candidate will possess prior sales and marketing experience and a passion for making a difference to help us build our brand and increase our donor base.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting the development and execution of the short- and long-term strategies to create awareness and raising funds for the causes supported by FOIH- USA
- Develop, oversee and improve Sales and marketing functions to ensure that they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
- Develop a pool of volunteers, in major cities of USA who are committed to the cause. Motivate and mobilize these volunteers for the continuous engagement with cause of FOIH
- Create awareness about Indus Hospital in the community by conducting awareness sessions with corporates, high net worth individual and public at large.
- Developing Friends of Indus network – identify and recruit resourceful local people as core group from different regions in USA and work with them to raise funds.
- Establish formal chapter framework in major cities and provide support to chapter management teams to function effectively to support the cause of FOIH
- Maintain a data base of existing and prospective donors and keeping them updated about the various projects of Indus Health Network
- Organizing Fund Raising, Social, sporting events to create awareness about the work of Indus health network
- Maintaining a constant liaison with donors and providing them the feedback of utilization of funds.
- Developing alternate distribution channels like, youth ambassador program, Masjid outreach program etc. to increase the touch points and outreach of FOIH- USA network
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of sales and marketing experience. Experience with a not-for-profit organization is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people, gain internal respect, and build consensus.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in creating and presenting proposals, plans, analytical reports, and documents regarding program status, achievements, and performance.
- Proficiency in Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Extensive experience that demonstrates your ability to connect with diverse networks
- A high degree of motivation, attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Past success in creating, launching and monitoring successful fundraising campaigns and proposals
- Event coordination and execution experience
- Good public speaking and community convening skills
- Experience in project and/or program management, development, planning and evaluation
- An ability to collaborate, educate, engage, and inspire
