As the Commercial Product Line Social Media Lead, you will:
  • Develop and implement the strategy, definition, and evolution of the commercial lines roadmap primarily focused on social media and all owned channels
  • Partner with Brand Strategy & Digital to ensure collaboration and coordination of firm wide social strategy
  • Execute social media campaigns aligning to our lines of business initiatives to deliver One Equitable experience for Financial Professionals and consumer
  • Administer the creation and publishing of social media content to relevant content libraries, as well as track, monitor and listen for effectiveness for the respective commercial business line
  • Manage and maintain the social editorial calendar across all commercial lines
  • Manage distribution enablement/adoption and engagement by developing key metrics to measure social media impact, and partner with brand measurement/analytics teams to evaluate performance and ROI to provide best practices and guidance to users.
  • Adhere to compliance and advertising guidelines to satisfy FINRA and organizational standards, through written supervisory procedures and daily supervision

The base salary range for this position is $103,000-$145,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications
  • BA/BS required (Marketing major a plus).
  • FINRA Principal licenses
  • 5 years of experience managing social media programs at an agency or on client side.
  • Experience with financial services and financial advisors/distributor programs is a plus
  • Experience working with legal and compliance partners to build out new platforms and capabilities
  • Proven history in creating social media copy and content
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with third-party social media management tools
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong decision-making ability
  • Decisive and confident in both interactions with peers and executives.
  • Experience with paid social media
  • E xperience with social media content creation and/or digital copywriting
  • Working knowledge of UTM coding tactics and tracking
  • Compliance and/or supervisory role in the financial services and insurance industry experience a plus
  • Camtasia video editing

Marketing Strategy and Positioning: Knowledge of market research, segmentation, and channels; ability to use business models to develop and implement marketing strategies, objectives, and tactics as well as establishing a communications plan.
Social Media Marketing Management: Knowledge of social media; ability to develop and use social media strategies and tools to increase sales by strengthening brand identity, visibility, and reputation.
Web Analytics: The knowledge of web analytics; ability to measure, collect, analyze, and report internet data for purposes of understanding and optimizing web usage.
