ABOUT THE ROLE

Tribeca is seeking a passionate, motivated, and experienced Marketing Manager who will own our content execution, as well as the brand voice, ensuring its consistency across all our channels, social media, newsletter, and website. They will be responsible for establishing processes and frameworks for work to be completed, building and nurturing a team, proposing innovative ways to grow audience and engagement for the Tribeca channels and developing and executing an integrated strategy for bringing brand pillars to life.  
As the head of the Marketing Team, the manager will propose marketing plan for the yearly Tribeca Festival, as well as Tribeca’s year-round events and initiatives. They oversee Design, Social, Newsletter and work closely with Web to execute all deliverables. Also, they will direct the overall social and newsletter strategy for Social and Newsletter to align with greater sales and audience development goals.
They will collaborate with our communications, sales, and partnerships teams on developing multi-media content that translate the brand voice and fulfill partner expectations. They will own digital analytics - testing and measurement, optimizing for what drives engagement across newsletters, website, email content and social media channels. Also, they will oversee paid advertising and be the point of contact to Tribeca’s paid advertising agency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the marketing team and an ever-evolving, digital content marketing strategy with an up-to-date understanding of marketing “best practices” across the competitive landscape.
  • Complete ownership of the content calendar, including crafting and implementing effective content marketing strategies to reach and engage qualified external and internal audiences.
  • Establish KPIs and routinely develop stories with data and analytics and identify clear key takeaways and learnings. Uncover insights and develop actionable recommendations for how to optimize and move the brand forward across all digital platforms.
  • Lead regular updates on Tribeca’s digital audience profile as well as conducting studies on the festival/live event attendees.
  • In partnership with our Communications and Talent team, develop content that will garner earned media opportunities, further brand goals and drive strategic audience growth.
  • Oversee and manage festival production vendors including a photography manager and a team of content producers to ensure engaging social storytelling is brought to life on the Tribeca pages in real-time during festivals.
  • Work with Social Media Manager to strategically develop creators content and campaigns.
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging platforms and trends for adoption where appropriate to keep the brand competitive.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 8-10 years experience in social media strategy, marketing and/or content creation and execution; including audience segmentation and content planning expertise 
  • A love for telling stories in dynamic and interesting ways
  • Experience developing platforms partnerships that include revenue sharing and value-in-kind deals 
  • A deep understanding of marketing trends, social media platforms and user
  • behavior
  • Competent with all major SEO tools
  • Strong technical skills specific to tools such as Sprout Social, Google Analytics and HubSpot
  • Strong Web Analytics proficiency is required – A/B testing / usability / UX
  • etc.
  • Extensive experience producing content across platforms 
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations
  • Extensive experience with the legal side of content management, acquisition and contract negotiation 
  • Available to work evenings and weekends as required
This role is based in our NYC office, onsite three days a week, remote two. 


SALARY: $120,000 - $130,000
