The role:
You will provide support for the Makeup, Sun, Body, Men’s and Spa team by analyzing, reviewing and reporting on all competitive activity (advertising, products). You will also help organize and track new products, line extensions, and reformulations on an ongoing basis.
What you’ll do:

Responsible Beauty made in France, since 1954. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review, analyze and present the competitive advertising (creative & spend) – to be presented in brand review meetings. Share with International team on an ongoing basis (monthly).
- Analyze the US Skincare Face market based on NPD (panels) on a monthly basis and analyze the drivers and restrainers of the market (segments/brands). From this analysis, build reports that give a detailed and complete business review of the makeup market and of Clarins’ performances.
- Manage weekly sell-thru analysis for Clarins’ products.
- Review competitive products and compare to Clarins products (claims, packaging, advertising retail sales, pricing, and promotion).
- Organize and keep files on advertising (Clarins & Competitive)
- Monitor marketing product closet and issue NYO requests when needed.
- Assist Marketing team by issuing Creative Service Requests and Project briefs for launches and other marketing projects.
- Assist in meeting preparation (PowerPoint presentations, conference room setup, etc)
- During training, the candidate will learn all of the basic marketing skills necessary to promote, build and support the brand via:
- Providing analysis on the marketplace – a full competitive review pricing analysis
- Intern will participate in meetings, shadow marketing associates, and participate in field tours
You are:
- Detail oriented with strong project management skills
- Multi-tasker with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, including prioritizing and paying close attention to detail
- Hands on with the ability to work independently
- Customer-focused, results-oriented and brand-addicted
- Genuinely looking forward to new challenges
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Communications or related fields
- Experience in the beauty, fashion or luxury industry, preferably in eCommerce
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (required)
- Demonstrate strong technical acumen for troubleshooting and problem solving
