NorthShore's Interactive Marketing Team is currently seeking a Social Media savvy individual to support our dynamic Social Media Team. The ideal candidate will have a natural curiosity for the Social Media space, exceptional writing skills and drive to learn about the newest Social Media marketing trends.
Position Highlights:
- Position: Marketing Intern
- Location: Evanston, IL
- Full Time/Part Time: Resource (limited benefits eligible)
- Hours: Monday-Friday between 20-40 hours per week
What you will do:
- Complete Social Media tasks/projects as assigned under the direction of your Social Media Team colleagues:
- Support organizational Social Media Strategy objectives
- Develop social posts (i.e. image sourcing/development, writing post content, hashtag research, etc.)
- Research projects/Data analysis
- Develop presentations in PowerPoint
- Manage data in Excel
- Write blogs/articles, as needed
- Attend and participate in team meetings
- Help manage, update and create NorthShore Social Media and web content
- Assist on photo and video shoots, as needed
- Create, edit and upload video
- Trim existing videos and online presentations
What you will need
- Recent graduate or current student pursuing a Marketing/Advertising/Communications/Journalism/Social Media degree
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Digital marketing experience a plus
- Graphic design experience (ie InDesign, PhotoShop) a plus
- Ability to multi-task and take initiative
