Job Summary
To create a rich and meaningful experience, we have identified some key components for success. Driving awareness across target audiences through successful digital campaign development and execution. Developing an understanding of the marketplace through research that creates insights used to build strategy.
Major Responsibilities:
- Determine the business needs for your department and aide in development of streamlined processes to achieve these needs.
- Analyze projects assigned in your area and utilize the resources at your disposal to meet required deadlines.
- Communicate your progress on tasks with your leader regularly to ensure business objectives are being met.
- Execute the requests given by your leader, team, and/or vendors you will be working with.
- Study and learn the different technical systems that you will be working in to support your functional area.
- Review the supporting documentation available to you to determine the ways to work more efficiently in your role.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key Responsibilities (Freshman/Sophomore/Base):
- Digital Marketing Campaigns: Work with the marketing team to design and execute omni-channel digital campaigns to target audiences. Assist in content creation for social media, email marketing, and other channels. Monitor campaign performance, track metrics, and provide recommendations for optimization.
Key Responsibilities (Junior/Senior/Base):
- Competitor Landscape Analysis: Conduct in-depth online research analyzing competitor capabilities and market positioning. Provide executive summary and presentation of findings.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of strategies and tactics to leadership and adjust tactics as needed to achieve annual business line objectives.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Present a final overview presentation outlining work performed, results attained and learning insights to the full Marketing team at the conclusion of the internship.
What qualifications you will need:
- Present enrollment in an accredited 4-year Marketing or related program at TSU or Fisk University
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Current juniors, seniors, or master’s students preferred
- Ability to work 30-40 hours a week in the Summer 2024 semester
