Job Title: Marketing Intern
Department: Marketing Department
Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports to: VP of Marketing
JOB SUMMARY
As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing team in all stages of marketing projects and campaigns. Your insightful contribution - tailored to your individual area of study - will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels. This internship will help you acquire real-world marketing skills, help you build your portfolio, and provide you with an overview of financial services marketing. Whether you are a graphic designer, a public relations professional, a videographer, a writer, or a marketing generalist, we have opportunities for you to showcase your skills. Expect to complete a final project related to your area of interest, gain broad experience in marketing, and gain real-world experience navigating a fast-paced work environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES (80%)
Duties will vary based on your area of interest and the bank’s needs, but may include:
- Create social media and online content.
- Write clear, creative, and engaging content that reflects the company’s brand including editing and proofreading for accuracy.
- Help organize marketing events. Plan and coordinate community activities.
- Prepare marketing promotional presentations and campaigns.
- Assist with brand standards and assets updates
- Create an annual marketing calendar.
- Manage promotional item inventory and ordering processes.
- Work with business lines to review and develop content that best showcases our products, services, and technologies.
- Manage digital marketing updates including: Exterior/Interior Digital Signage, Social Media Dashboard (Facebook, Google My Business, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube), TFB Website, and TFB Intranet (The Hub).
- Assist with implementation of marketing email automation efforts and list management.
- Create a checklist of tools needed to setup for a successful tradeshow.
- Perform market analysis and research on competition.
- Support the marketing team with a variety of projects and campaigns.
- Help distribute marketing materials.
- Help manage marketing projects and campaigns.
