Narrative Strategies LLC is Hiring a Marketing Intern Near Washington, DC
The Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting the marketing and business development functions in their pursuits to attract new clients. The Marketing Intern will learn to create proposals, compile quality research for presentations, and expand work productivity in a deadline driven environment.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels including social media, email marketing, and advertising.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and client preferences.
- Analyze data to track campaign performance and make recommendations for optimization.
- Provide administrative support to the Marketing team including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and preparing reports.
- Identify industry events, conferences, and awards to keep the team up-to-date with the latest marketing opportunities
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Marketing or Business Administration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Familiarity with marketing tools such as HubSpot, Constant Contact, and WordPress
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for marketing and eagerness to learn.

About the ideal candidate: Applicants must work well under deadlines, have excellent written and oral communications skills, as well as a desire to learn and deliver the highest level of client service. Previous experience in politics and public affairs is not required, but candidates should generally understand and be interested in traditional communications and public relations. Skills with Google Analytics, open-sourced CMS systems, as well as the Adobe Creative Suite or Canva are a plus.
Internship start date/end dates are flexible. Part-time applicants will be considered, but candidates with full-time availability will be given preference. Both in-person and remote candidates will be considered.
