We are seeking a professional with a strong foundation in data analysis, with proficiency in Tableau and Salesforce, to contribute to our organization's data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Extraction and Cleaning:

• Utilize automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.
• Identify and address coding errors, corrupted data, and related issues.

Database Management:

• Develop and maintain databases, reorganizing data into a readable format.
• Query databases using SQL, with knowledge of systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL.

Data Analysis and Exploration:

• Analyze and explore data to identify trends, patterns, and insights for Marketing, Sales, and Underwriting.
• Apply statistical methods to test hypotheses and make predictions.

Data Visualization:

• Use Tableau to create interactive dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
• Leverage other tools like @Risk for effective data representation.

Machine Learning (Desirable):

• Apply machine learning techniques to automate tasks, identify patterns, and make predictions.

Report Preparation and Presentation:

• Prepare comprehensive reports for management, clearly communicating trends, patterns, and predictions.
• Present data-analysis steps to stakeholders for informed decision-making.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work collaboratively with programmers, engineers, and management to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Clearly convey findings to non-technical stakeholders through reports and presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certified Tableau Data Analyst
• 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on cleaning, preparing, and exploring data.
• Proficient in Tableau for data visualization; experience with other tools is a plus.
• Strong SQL skills for database querying.
• Understanding of Salesforce data usage, system flows and work processes in support of Salesforce deployments.
• Familiarity with statistical concepts and hypothesis testing.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques is desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and visualization.
• Experience in Marketing and/or Finance, demonstrating an understanding of industry-specific data needs and challenges.
