We are looking for a driven, self-starting Marketing Content Writer who excels in communication, attention to detail, and is already knowledge/comfortable in an agency style environment. That includes writing copy for social media, newsletter campaigns, cold outreach, etc. We write to sell, but we do so using writing styles based in Emotional Intelligence and tactical Empathy. When we write we come from a place of understanding our client voice and products and leveraging them in a way that showcases that we understand the clients problem. We write to create "mass intimacy" in our copy. You should already have a foundation of these principles under your belt.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Understand brand voice expectations (from client and/or internal documents)
- Create brand voice expectations (as needed)
- Develop concepts for campaign/monthly content
- Understand/Establish go-to topics for clients
- Suggest design ideas or other related concepts that would best serve the copy (as needed)
- Write sales/marketing copy for social media posts, landing pages, short blog posts, email campaigns, and similar ("content writing")
- Use tone, language, and formatting specific to brand voice, and with consideration of current trends and best practices
- Self edit for grammar/style, brand voice, trends, clarity, etc.
- Understand, implement, check in about, and synthesize (into SOPs) client feedback
- Analytics
- Have a basic understanding of performance and make subtle content adjustments accordingly
- Interface with clients via email to share progress/deliverables and ask/answer questions
- Share and receive feedback with the internal team

- Great communication skills required; Ability to effectively respond to questions from clients, contractors, coworkers, and supervisors in English

- Strong ability to communicate feedback to other supervisors in a way that is explicit, professional, and contributes to collective growth.
- Ability to troubleshoot and work with clients' needs on your feet. Continually raise the bar on creativity, finding fresh solutions that help our clients move forward faster.
- Comfortably jump from project to project efficiently and effectively.
- Familiarity with Microsoft, Google Suite, Calendly, Zoom, Active Campaign, and Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word-processing program is a must.
- Excellent multitasking, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Must have a computer and reliable internet connection
Compensation/Job Specific Details:
- This is a contracted position at 86 hours per month (averaging 20 hours per week) Pay starts between $2000-$2400/month
- Opportunity to receive Unlimited PTO under a Contract Model
- Must be based in the US.
