Marketing Coordinator Job Description
Healing Star Physical Therapy is looking to hire an energetic Marketing Coordinator to work in a fun, fast paced health services environment! The Marketing Coordinator will be the face of Healing Star by building, enhancing and maintaining relationships with our physicians and community.
This position will be responsible for acting as liaison between Healing Star Physical Therapy and the Monmouth County area Healthcare providers, media, patients and their families. Position will promote the services and programs of Healing Star Physical Therapy to advance growth of the company.
Responsibilities include:
- Understand company history, core values and what Healing Star Stands for. In addition, to be aware of the therapists at Healing Star are different from other therapists, our strengths and techniques.
- Creating and maintaining relationships with doctors; providing them with up to date information about Healing Star Physical Therapy’s new programs, locations, staff members and community outreach involvement.
- Working as a liaison between medical offices and physical therapists to help facilitate communication by setting up meetings, shadowing, observation opportunities and lunches.
- Ensuring we are on the top of each physicians referring list of trusted physical therapy companies.
- Keeping promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with team members; inventorying stock and placing orders.
- Visiting local companies/offices that have more than 20 employees and arranging workshops regarding neck pain, back pain and ergonomics.
- Organize referral programs, screening events, open houses for the community.
- Prepare advertisements for local newspapers, local gyms, etc.
- Promote Class IV B Laser therapy at doctor’s offices, leaving brochures and also arranging open houses for potential patients
- Managing Social Media Pages (Facebook, Instagram); Social Media Posts (3 a week)
- Keeping the Healing Star website up to date
- Post 1 blog per month usually the middle of the month
- Timely communication with all past patients via mail, e-mail or phone calls.
Success Factors
- Have 40 quality interactions with referral sources (doctors or key referring employees) every week.
- Coordinate, organize and plan a physician - therapist in person meeting at least 2 times a month
- Update physician’s accounts in tracking system (significant news, name, demographic info, office staff comments) within 1 day of any changes/updates.
- Run internal reports on WebPT at least 2 times a week & formulate marketing plans accordingly.
- Immediately address and resolve any concerns a physician’s office has by end of same business
- Communicate with Healing Star Physical Therapy owners by phone, email, or in person at least 2 times a month to strategize or discuss issues.
- Check email minimum of 4 times a day and always respond within 24 hours
Preferring candidates with:
_Masters of Business Administration from an Accredited University_
*Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing*
Experience with MD marketing is a plus and Minimum 2 years experience in Digital Marketing
