What are my Essential Duties and Responsibilities?
- Create and publish content on various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Monitor social media platforms for trends and opportunities to engage with our target audience.
- Monitor social media for customer and/or employee inquiries or comments.
- Help develop and maintain a social media content calendar to ensure consistent, high-quality content is published.
- Ensure all marketing collateral is visually appealing, consistent with our brand identity, and adheres to established guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of marketing collateral that supports our growth.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive insights, and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and implement a marketing plan to expand sales.
- Work with media relations, local business and business leaders, chambers, rotaries, town halls, selectmen, and other local decision-makers.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and the communications team to brainstorm and execute innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Connect our lines of business to our mission as we grow and diversify.
- Monitor email boxes for each line of business with its own website.
What are the Requirements for this position?
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
What are the Preferred Skills for this position?
- Experience with graphic design, video production, and/or web design
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
