Job Description
Position Summary
As the Marketing Coordinator, you support the marketing team’s efforts to drive brand awareness, engage customers, and achieve the company’s business objectives. In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing Director and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute marketing initiatives and campaigns, establish marketing operations systems, and implement marketing processes. This is an on-site position with the flexibility to occasionally work remotely and a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in all areas of marketing and be part of building a marketing department.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Complete printed and digital marketing collateral requests, including business cards, promotional materials, websites, etc. and project manage all requests (build timelines, ensure deadlines are met, etc.)
- Build social media presence and develop content strategy to maximize engagement
- Plan and manage all aspects of events and event strategy; collaborate with and support internal stakeholders, order and organize deliverables/giveaways, attend events and complete follow-up tasks
- Collaborate with Leadership Team and Marketing Director on Customer Engagement Strategy + Appreciation, including customer events and reward programs
- Develop and maintain a system for internal team-building activities aka the Surprise & Delight Program; develop team budgets, guide activity ideas, establish frequency of events, and determine their effectiveness by working with managers
- Assist in the rollout and management of new apparel management system and uniform policy; support Marketing Director with quarterly apparel rollouts
- Support the Marketing Director in establishing and evaluating the marketing strategy; provide support for new initiatives and projects
- Attend meetings and collaborate with external marketing agency
- Collaborate with Marketing Team to share ideas, brainstorm, and execute deliverables
- All other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 1-3 years of marketing experience; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred
- Highly organized with exceptional project management, attention to detail, and prioritization skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of people and personalities
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines
- Growth mindset and eagerness to learn
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
