We're looking for a Marketing Content Specialist to create extraordinary content, both big and small.
Purpose:
The Marketing Content Specialist is a content creator extraordinaire, responsible primarily for supporting digital marketing strategies with content marketing.
The Specialist will write and edit copy for email marketing including subject lines, website content, blogs, and social posts. They will also know how to interpret performance analytics to continuously improve the quality and outcomes of digital content across various communication platforms.
This position also has simple audio and video production and editing responsibilities for short-form content as well as serve as a backup for editing longer content such as webinars.
No matter the content, this position knows how to champion consistent messaging to create increased visibility of company expertise across a variety of mediums.
Responsibilities:
- Creates and edits content and subject lines for email marketing, and optimizes campaigns based on analytics insights.
- Creates content for social media platforms, with an emphasis on LinkedIn.
- Continuously improves call to action opportunities, workflows, and conversions.
- Runs digital content management platforms as needed.
- Contributes website content such as news articles and blogs in support of marketing priorities.
- Creates engaging company and industry profiles for directory and association listings.
- Produces and edits audiovisual content in-house or through external vendors as needed for use in various marketing mediums.
- Collaborates with team members on targeted marketing activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism or similar background.
AND three to five years related experience and/or training.
OR equivalent combination of education and experience. - Able to travel approximately 2 times per year.
Must be proficient in the following computer software programs:
- Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn).
