US (ABC US) are proud to manufacture engineered fasteners under the SPAX• brand for the construction market, TRUFAST• for the commercial roofing industry, and TRUFAST• Walls for exterior building envelopes and facades. The Digital Marketing Content Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate key content entry across various systems, project managing small to medium-scale projects, and content creation. He/She will utilize their own strong writing and creative ability to develop new content for all aspects of our 3rd party eCommerce sites and corporate-owned branded websites, including but not limited to photography, rendering, video, infographics, and listing content. Leveraging SEO and data analytic insights with agency partners, the ideal candidate will work to improve ratings and site traffic of products sold and promoted online through multiple channels on various platforms, resulting in increased brand awareness and products sold online.

Essential Responsibilities:
General Administration
  • Create compelling content (text, images, videos, and A+ content) to engage target audiences through all channels (e-Commerce, websites, social media, and email marketing)
  • Continuous optimization and customization of digital storefronts to increase sales and marketplace rankings
  • Partner with brand managers and outside agency partners to continuously optimize branded websites
  • Update and add product copies, attributes, images, videos, tables, etc. to company-owned websites and eCommerce storefronts to drive brand awareness, page rankings, and purchase preference
  • Capture, edit, and retouch photos including working with 360 product photography software
  • Ability to upload and tag content with appropriate metadata tags to facilitate a robust searching tool
  • SEO optimization
  • Maintain internal database (PIMs), updating existing data and entering new data and technical information.
  • Enter data into a computerized database accurately and efficiently from various digital sources.
  • Establish and ensure compliance with brand guidelines and oversee corporate and brand identity.
  • Report on the growth and analytics of marketing efforts to stakeholders on a regular cadence; measurement of digital traffic across branded websites, landing pages, social media campaigns, and email marketing.
  • Assist with special projects.

Position Requirements
Experience:
  • Some experience with a consumer brand (agency experience acceptable)
  • Retail/e-commerce experience a plus.
  • Home Improvement retail experience preferred.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field.

Required Skills/Competencies:
  • Experience in e-commerce marketing, digital advertising, SEO, conversion optimization and email marketing.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of how to capture, edit and retouch photos and/or composite multiple images
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc. - on MAC OS
  • Ability to upload and tag content with appropriate metadata tags to facilitate a robust searching tool
  • Knowledge of content management systems for websites (Craft, Wix, Adobe, WordPress)
  • Excellent data entry skills with an extremely high level of accuracy.
  • CRM, ERP, and other inventory management experience is a plus!
  • Excellent skills in the Microsoft Office package including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be organized, energetic, and attentive to detail!
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple deadlines and priorities, and drive projects through to completion, while collaborating with other team members.

Travel:
  • Travel as needed to support projects at corporate locations (i.e. Bryan, OH, Pioneer, OH, or Grand Rapids, MI); or to assist with trade shows, customer meetings, and other on-the-job learning opportunities.

Physical Requirements:
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, and to stand, walk, reach, bend, or lift up to 25 pounds.
