Form of workEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and execution of marketing events (festivals, activations, community relations, etc.)
• Serve as official park photographer/videographer
• Film and edit b-roll videos for Public Relations Department
• Film, direct and edit videos for parks' social media, website and internal communications
• Maintain the monthly team member resource guide
• Create, design and execute weekly content for team member newsletter
• Coordinate and communicate with all park departments for weekly information and updates
• Assist with social media efforts, including Content Creation, captioning and scheduling
• Assist with website edits and audits throughout season, including monitoring online pricing and deadlines
• Assist with signage installation throughout park
• Enforce all park policies and procedures, and maintain Six Flags standards
• Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
• Advanced knowledge and skill in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Pro
• Strong knowledge in social media platforms with business applications, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and
TikTok
• Ability to take initiative and manage projects from beginning to end on a deadline
• Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced and high-energy environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others, while also working independently
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including some nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
