Job Overview:Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. This full-time Marketing & Communications Coordinator position supports the Shriners Children's St. Louis location. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator provides a wide range of support to the Marketing & Communications Manager/Director including, but not limited to, writing, editing, social media management and digital channel communications management.
Responsibilities:Responsibilities include Strategic Communications, including writing and posting content for SHC website, location microsite, intranet and social media channels; Collaborative Communications including working with other departments and medical staff to solicit stories, and encouraging enthusiasm, positive morale and teamwork among employees; and providing Departmental Support, including managing multiple projects and general administrative office duties.
Qualifications:Experience Required:
- 3 or more years of Marketing/Communications/Public Relations experience
- 3 years of storytelling, writing and editing experience
- Managing multiple projects
- MS Office Suite proficiency
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field
Experience Preferred:
- Social Media Content Creation
- Social Media Management/ Monitoring
- Story Generation
- Media Relations/ Public Relations
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other email marketing platforms
- Event Support
